Yep, if you haven’t heard already…
My squad and I will be travelling to Louisiana! We will be partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to assist homeowners affected by Hurricane Laura – helping with tasks like mud outs, roof tarping, debris cleanup, and chainsaw work.
I could NOT be more excited. This is awesome news as we weren’t sure if ministry opportunities would be an option given all the Covid-19 regulations.
Some questions you might have:
Where will we be going? Lake Charles, LA!
When will we be going? We leave October 10! Just two weeks away!
What will our days look like? Here’s what we have so far in terms of our schedule:
6:30 AM: Breakfast + devotions
8:00 AM: Depart for worksite
6:00 PM: Dinner + share time
9-10 PM: Quiet time + lights out
Where will we be staying? Volunteers are housed in a local church.
How long will we be there? 1 week!
